Why I Created The Thriving Today Academy

I’ve spent more than 30 years working with people in organisations of every shape and size.

From senior leadership teams to first-time managers, from large public sector bodies to small charities and start-ups — I’ve walked alongside people as they try to do good work in sometimes difficult circumstances.

And again and again, I’ve heard the same frustrated cry:

“We know our people need development...
but there just isn’t time to make it happen.”

The tension no one talks about

The intention is always there.

No HR lead sets out to stall development.

But the day-to-day reality often gets in the way:
